Yoga

The process of yoga is an ascent into the purity of the absolute perfection that is the essential state of all human beings. This goal requires the removal of our enveloping personal impurities, the stilling of our lower feelings and thoughts, and the establishment of a state of inner balance and harmony. All the methods of yoga are based on the perfection of our personalities and may help to create a new world order.

Gentle Hatha Yoga is a practice that focuses on synchronizing breath with movement and uses breath work, release techniques, and stretches to create deep opening in the muscles around the spine. As the spine releases tension, the effects radiate throughout the nerve system and entire body to facilitate deep relaxation and a blissful inner state. This form of Yoga helps release tension, both mental and physical, improves body awareness and increases flexibility. All levels welcome!

Men and Women are encouraged to attend class; whether it be to stay in shape, gain muscle tone, shed pounds or calm the mind and live in the moment! This class flows and is styled allow students to travel thru their yoga journey at their own pace. A strong emphasis is put on total body awareness, breathing, and both inner and outer body balance. Students are encouraged to bring their health requests and concerns as well as goals and experiences they wish to attain as they journey with the instructor and DREAM on the path to wellness.
