It is no secret that happy and healthy employees are more productive and create higher profits for their employers. That is why corporate wellness programs have gained popularity since the 1980s by companies that were led by forward thinking individuals who were willing to invest in their teams. These visionary leaders have reaped the benefits of decreased absenteeism, unnecessary turnover and gratuitous conflicts among team members.
In the 1990s, the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) began to create programs to promote healthier work environments, with initiatives in 2003 and 2008 which included holding employers more accountable to ensuring the health and safety of employees. The programs encompass many health related ‘Lunch and Learn’ workshops with topics including, but not limited to, nutrition, ergonomics, fitness and even meditation.
DREAM Wellness has been at the forefront of these initiatives and a major player in providing such services for companies and organizations since 1998.
THE PROBLEM: Not all companies have thousands of employees like Qualcomm, Target, Safeway, WalMart and Sysco to make it economical for them to have their very own onsite wellness center.
THE PAIN POINTS:

THE SOLUTION: An entirely new amenity for the tenants to enjoy in Class-A multi-level commercial buildings, complexes and campuses. DREAM Wellness will bring the onsite wellness center experience and benefits to smaller companies, as a collaborative effort with the companies’ innovative landlords.
THE TARGET, STRATEGY & PITCH: Many newer office buildings are equipped with fitness centers. Some of the fitness centers are well utilized, while others are poorly managed and not kept in top notch condition with relevant equipment. The developers had good intentions when they built the fitness centers, but unfortunately they often fall short of the anticipated goal.
DREAM Wellness has had tremendous success for more than two decades serving its communities with five locations throughout San Diego, CA and Long Island, NY; with an unparalleled commitment to providing the best in wellness care. DREAM Wellness’ offerings include chiropractic, massage, nutrition counseling, life coaching, relationship consulting, Yoga, Pilates, personal training, Acupuncture, organic cooking classes, meditation and others (each location offers different services).
We are looking to partner with pioneering developers who see the value in providing an amenity that will not only increase the health and vitality of their tenants, but also help increase the likelihood of a fully occupied building. The first requirement is a fitness center… or at least the desire to build one. An additional private room or two would also be necessary; which could be separated from space not utilized in the fitness center (approximately 200 ft2 min).
DREAM Wellness will manage the fitness center at no cost to the building whatsoever, and we will provide other wellness services as desired. If the building already has an arrangement with a third party managing the fitness center, DREAM Wellness will work in conjunction with the existing operators/providers/managers to bring appropriate services not already offered. These may include massage (table, chair, hydromassage), chiropractic, life coaching, nutrition counseling, personal training, yoga classes, meditation and others. The wellness services would operate on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the needs of the building and tenants. (All of our providers are fully insured and licensed where appropriate.) DREAM Wellness will offer these amenities at no charge to the building.
DREAM Wellness will offer reduced rates on our services offered to the employees working in the building, provided that the companies sign the appropriate MOU to handle state law and compliance regulations; and the services are marketed to their employees as agreed. The employees will have the ability to book their wellness services ahead of time or on the same day (based on availability) simply by accessing our smartphone (iPhone / Android) mobile application, or through our web based desktop software; or the old fashioned way, the telephone.
This is a new, innovative way to solve major issues in the work environment, all the while increasing the health and well-being of our community; ultimately helping everyone live their DREAM… everyday!

Our certified fitness specialists will help the employees boost energy, build muscle, increase flexibility and look their best. Challenges, competitions and overall best practices in fitness whether it be one-on-one training or group classes, we will enhance the health, culture and morale of the employees.
How well a person functions is ultimately determined by his/her nervous system’s ability to communicate vital information throughout his/her body, which impacts his/her health. Our doctors of Chiropractic are licensed, trained and INSURED to help your employees overcome and adapt to the stresses of everyday living… including those caused by occupational hazards such as long-term sitting, typing and lifting. It has been demonstrated time and time again that chiropractic care at the workplace reduces absenteeism, reduces workers’ compensation claims, reduces health insurance claims and improves the overall health, morale and quality of life for employees.

Many people think that wellness is merely freedom from pain, sickness and disease. We see it as the complete integration of mind, body and spirit, affecting not only your visible body parts, but also the trillions of cells that make up your entire body. It is a proactive approach toward creating physical, mental, social and spiritual harmony. Wellness is much more than just how you feel; it’s how you function!
The 5 Facets of the Wellness Prism are not services; they are categories or aspects of living. Within each facet, there are numerous products and services that will enhance and/or support the wellness lifestyle.
The Five Facets of Wellness
One of the unique aspects or the USP of DREAM Wellness is that we understand and teach the 5 Facets of Wellness; all are which are necessary to truly live a proactive wellness lifestyle. None of the facets are more important than another and they must all be in balance. Many things that you currently do in life that are good for you will actually have a positive impact on more than one facet at a time; and vice versa.
Everyone has heard the saying, “You are what you eat”. The truth is, “You are what your body gets from what you eat”. Actually, the whole truth is, “You are what your body gets from what you eat, drink, breathe, see, feel, taste, touch and hear”. In other words, diet is everything that enters your body’s internal environment from the external world.
So, what are you putting into your body on a regular basis? What type of movies do you watch? What type of music do you listen to? What type of books/magazines are you reading?
While it is important to breathe fresh air and consume foods and beverages that are rich in nutrients, it is also vital to ensure that what you see, feel, hear and touch is also “nutritious” . The “nutritional value” of your overall diet will ultimately be determined by your body’s ability to process and adapt to its external environment.
Relaxation is more than just sleeping well. In physics, relaxation is defined as the exponential return of a system to equilibrium (balance) following a disturbance. It can also be defined as a state of refreshing tranquility. We see relaxation as a combination of both. It is a physical, emotional and spiritual mind-body connection in which each and every cell gets a chance to call “timeout” for repair and regeneration. When relaxation occurs, your body is more likely to adapt to chemical, physical and emotional stress encountered on a daily basis. How well your body adapts to this stress will ultimately determine your potential for wellness.
Exercise can be defined as any activity that requires physical or mental exertion. This “stress” helps regulate metabolism while promoting biochemical balance to the many systems of the which are responsible for running the human body. All parameters of human performance and function are directly improved through the process of exercise.
An individuals potential for wellness will depend on his/her body’s ability to convert the physical, chemical and emotional stress of exercise into constructive energy.
As human beings, we live our lives through our nerve system (brain, spinal cord and spinal nerves). How well the body functions is ultimately determined by the ability of the brain and body to communicate with each other. This delicate system is protected by bones that make up the spine (vertebrae). If any bones shift out of alignment, pressure may be placed on the nerves, thereby interfering with the communication between the brain and body (vertebral subluxation). When this occurs, an individual will always be less efficient at adapting to chemical, physical and emotional stress. A “subluxated” person literally has a “disconnection” from above down-inside out (where healing and vitality originate from) and will be out of balance mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. This will eventually cause the body to break down and deteriorate regardless of the presence or absence of symptoms.
All disease processes begin with the body having some type of dis-ease first. Lack of nerve communication between the brain and body can certainly be considered dis-ease!
When a person is in balance mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally; and has a nerve system free of interference, brain/body communication will take place more efficiently so you can perform at your very best! This is what it means to be, “In Adjustment”. Tab 2 content…

Dr. Brian Stenzler received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 1998 and received honors in Clinical Excellence. In 1999, he received a Master’s degree in Sports Health Science from Life University. He is also a Certified ULT Facilitator & Corporate Consultant and provides wellness and lifestyle coaching and consulting for businesses around the globe.
Dr. Stenzler’s vision was to create a venue where those he served would learn to live a life of abundance from above-down-inside-out (ADIO) and to inspire people that “good enough” doesn’t have to be “good enough”.
The ultimate purpose of DREAM Wellness is to bridge the gap from the current reactive system of “healthcare” toward a proactive model of wellness by providing the tools and venue for one’s journey. By the year 2003, Dr. Stenzler had two successful DREAM Wellness locations on Long Island, New York. Dr. Stenzler’s unique holistic approach towards helping people express their true perfection has enabled DREAM Wellness to expand to the west coast where there are currently three thriving locations in San Diego (Del Mar, Pacific Beach and Santee). By offering a wide range of holistic and wellness services under one roof and traveling around the globe to consult with businesses and organizations, Stenzler is truly living his DREAM.
In the Chiropractic World
When Dr. Stenzler practiced in New York (1998 – 2006), he served on the Board for the NY Chiropractic Council, including President of the Nassau County District and held several positions on the Executive Board. In 2006, Dr. Stenzler moved to San Diego and opened DREAM Wellness centers in Pacific Beach and Del Mar and in 2014 was elected President of the California Chiropractic Association (CCA), serving nearly 20% of the entire chiropractic profession. Aside from being an Executive Officer as the Immediate Past President of the CCA, he is also on the Board of Directors for the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations (COCSA), the YOU Consulting Group, and he is a founding Executive Officer of OneChiropractic.
Dr. Stenzler’s illustrious 20+ year career is highlighted with honors including New York Chiropractic Council’s Chiropractor of the Year, The World Chiropractic Alliance’s Outstanding Service Award, The Chiropractic Leadership Alliance’s “On Purpose” doctor of the month, 2012 & 2018 Doctor of the Year from the CCA San Diego as well as the 2015 recipient of their Leadership Award, and many more. Dr. Stenzler had been recognized by the American Red Cross for assisting the rescue and relief workers at Ground Zero following the 9/11 tragedy. His humanitarian efforts continued into San Diego when he served Chiropractic care to the firefighters in the 2007 Firestorm and he also spent time on a mission trip to Panama where Chiropractic is not easily accessible to the citizens of that country.
Dr. Stenzler has been a member of the United States Golf Association’s (USGA) Wellness Team since 2009 serving Chiropractic to the professional golfers participating in the US Open. In addition, Dr. Stenzler serves Chiropractic to many current and retired professional athletes and celebrities but really prides himself on the work he does when serving families within the San Diego communities.
In the Corporate World
With credentials including a bachelor’s degree in business and chemistry, a doctorate in chiropractic, a master’s in sports health science and a certification as a ULT Facilitator & Corporate Consultant, Dr. Stenzler helps businesses and organizations of all sizes (including schools, non-profits and government agencies) improve company morale, define corporate culture, decrease absenteeism and of course increase the health and vitality of the company and its employees. Dr. Stenzler and his team provide lunch and learn workshops, onsite chiropractic care (and other health related services), team building exercises, full day seminars and weekend retreats for executives, leadership teams and entire companies.
Aside from practicing chiropractic part-time in San Diego and serving on multiple boards, Dr. Stenzler travels the world as a guest speaker at conferences and colleges and lectures at numerous businesses, schools and civic organizations as a wellness expert. He has also been featured on television and radio shows around the country. Dr. Stenzler has also been a member of the CEO “think tank” Vistage for the past 5+ years.
